Section 1
Any young men of good character not less than sixteen years of age shall be eligible for membership which shall be to kinds

1. FULL MEMBER
2. ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Notwithstanding the provisions of the above section, boys between the age of eight and sixteen may admitted to the boys department of the association as junior members. Provisions for their admission will be in accordance with the byelaws of that department.
 
Section 2
Full membership shall be open to all young men as described in section one who are either full members of Christian church or regarding jesus Christ as their God and saviour, desire to be his disciples in their doctrine and in their life and to associate their efforts for the extension of his kingdom among young men.
 
Section 3
Associate membership is open to any young man who fulfills the provisions of Section 1
 
Section 4
Membership Application: Application for membership shall be made in the prescribed form and shall be endorsed by at least one member. The approval of at least two thirds of the members present at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors shall be necessary for its acceptance.
 
Section 5
Associate members after having been approved by the Board of Directors may be admitted as full members at a special Christian ceremony of induction at which they shall dedicate themselves to the cause of the YMCA and take a pledge to further its fundamental purposes.
 
Section 6
Full members of at least six months standing shall alone have the right of voting.
 
Section 7
Associate members shall have all the rights of full members including that of membership of committees, but shall not be entitled to vote.
 
Section 8
Subject to adequate safeguards being provided for preservation of the Christian character of the movement, any member may be admitted to membership of a sub-committee.
 
Section 9
Any member found guilty of conduct prejudicial to the Constitution or spirit of the association may be suspended or removed from membership by a vote of four-fifths of those present at a meeting of the Board of Management, provided the member has been apprised of the charges against him and given full opportunity to answer them before the Board of Directors.
